Privacy Policy
The relationship between a client and psychotherapist is confidential and protected by law. Verbal and written records cannot be shared without the written consent of the client or the clients legal guardian. Noted exceptions are as follows.
Duty to warn and protect
If a client disclosed intent to harm self or other, I am obligated to inform the intended victim or legal authorities. If a client discloses a plan for suicide, I am obligated to notify legal authorities.
Abuse of children or vulnerable adult
If a client suggest that they are abusing or neglecting a child or vulnerable adult or that the child or adult is in danger of abuse or neglect I am obligated to notify legal authorities.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide 24-hour notice when cancelling appointments. You will be charged in full for your session if you do not advise of your inability to attend your appointment 24 hours in advance.
